About The Role

Science Technician

Five days per week (37.5 hours), term-time only plus 15 days in the holidays

We are looking to appoint a Science Technician to work across departments to support the teaching of Science in our School.

The post-holder will be joining a friendly, professional and supportive team of two other technicians and nine teachers. We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in Biology and/or Chemistry, who can contribute specialist knowledge to the department.

The Science Technician will assist teaching staff in providing pupils at Clifton High School with a relevant and effective Science experience and ensuring high levels of achievement. They will be responsible for the implementation of planned teaching practical sessions and maintenance of STEM equipment and ICT systems and their use within the department.

The role is full time (37.5 hours per week), term-time only, with an additional 15 days to be worked during the holidays. The pro-rated salary is £22,633.65pa (£26,871pa FTE)
