About The Role

For September 2026 Full-time, term-time only, with 10 days to be worked outside of term-time

We are looking to appoint an Examinations Officer to join a friendly, professional and supportive Examinations Office.

As Examinations Officer, the role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage complex processes throughout the academic year. Responsibilities include overseeing examination entries, coordinating access arrangements and special consideration, managing examination timetables, training and supervising invigilators, ensuring the secure handling of examination materials, set up of examination rooms, and processing results and post-results services.

As a central figure in the school's assessment and examination procedures, the Examinations Officer helps to maintain the integrity, security, and fairness of the examination system.

By working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, students, parents, and external agencies, the Examinations Officer ensures that every candidate has the opportunity to perform under appropriate conditions and that all examination activities comply with current regulations and best practice

Knowledge of SIMS or previous examination experience would be advantageous.

This role is full-time, predominantly term-time (40 hours per week). The pro-rated salary is £27,680.84pa (£31,529 FTE)
