Teacher of Mathematics

We are seeking to appoint a full-time, qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics (12 months Fixed Term Contract with the possibility to move to permanent employment) to join a friendly, thriving department teaching pupils who achieve excellent results at GCSE and A level. Typically, children leave the School in Year 13 for Russell Group universities, with many making Oxbridge applications and apprenticeship applications each year.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced Mathematics teacher. They should be knowledgeable, inspiring, articulate and supportive. They will have the vision and drive to maintain the very high educational standards for which the Mathematics Department is known. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, both in imparting a passion for the subject to pupils and students, and in working collaboratively with the Mathematics Department, the wider staff body and parents.

The salary for this role will be Teachers’ Main or Enhanced Pay Scale, depending on experience.
