About The Role

Part-Time Hours, Term-Time Only

Closing date for applications: Midnight on Sunday 1st November 2026

The interview date will be on Friday 6th November 2026

We are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor who will be part of a dedicated team responsible for providing safe, quality care for children at lunchtime.

Clifton High School is an academically selective, co-educational, independent day School for approximately 800 pupils aged 3-18 years. Situated on a beautiful Bristol site, our educational offering is underpinned by a strong pastoral and family ethos. We value individuality and positively celebrate diversity and inclusion in every area of the school.

During Lunchtime in the playgrounds, you will ensure that our children have a safe, fun break where they are encouraged to engage in playground activities and to treat each other with respect and kindness. In the Dining Room, you will help children with their food and guide their behaviour and manners.

This role is Wednesday, Thursday and Friday per week from 11.45am to 1.15pm per day (4.5 hours per week). The pro-rated salary for this role is £2,549.78 per annum (£27,081 FTE).

Ideally, we are looking to appoint a Level 3 qualified professional or someone with equivalent training and experience who can bring creativity, energy, and enrichment to our setting.

While not essential, we would particularly welcome applications from candidates who currently work with Infant or Junior school children in a coaching or teaching capacity. Qualifications or experience in specialist areas such as:

  • Dance
  • Languages
  • Forest School
  • Yoga
  • Tennis

This would be highly advantageous and contribute significantly to the breadth and quality of our enrichment offerings.
